All things are destined to come to an end in its own due time, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a rebirth blossoming into a full resurrection. There’s value in losing something in order to find what was once lost. The month of March had been abrupt by marching in with bad news on increased death counts of COVID in 2020, oddly enough bringing a collective weight that everyone was coping with personally, as if it were a global awakening. I prayed every night that circumstances would alter, but it seems clearer everyday why things played out the way they did. As if History is revealing the repeated Mystery of tomorrow. An international warfare we are all warriors in, though as a nation we are unsure on how it will end. Nonetheless, a new world seeking to be reborn by the seeds of hope within the hearts of society, which will blossom a needed rebirth of life.
A brand by the name of TruuArt swept Downtown Milwaukee by storm, with their inspiration through self-expression and acceptance of your TRUU-th. BlueJay Entertainment was their number one support on creative events in the city of Milwaukee, inspiring the youth in visual and performing arts, as well as brainstorming merchandise that held symbolism to the LGBTQ community. Our brands collaborated plenty of times before the three directors decided it was best to split ways towards new fun ventures.
Then in April of 2020, TruuArt LLC had come in for the landing like a bird from flight, not only separating as a company but rebuilding the essence of what they stood for into BlueJay Entertainment. Fortunately, reclaiming the spirit of what was once thought to be lost, and it underwent metamorphoses of empowering energy towards the next generation. I was aware that TruuArt would no longer represent urban underground Milwaukee, but one day a friendly neighborhood BlueJay will come to return with something greater to give back.
TRUUJay believes: That’s a True, Blue, Promise!
Midnight on nearly the last days of April, I finally applied the legend of the phoenix to the understanding of my life. A business that has the ability to exchange creative energies with you doesn’t leave you as easily when the company meets its downfall. But “where will everything go?” “Why will it be let go?” These were recurring questions left to consider, though a versatile brand like TruuArt evolved and transformed like energy, it would seem as if what was once built will never be destroyed but transformed. I then wrote a new “Letter to the World” to channel my altered perspective to share with Society, each updated letter every year can be found in my Archives.
*Peace of Mind Poem*
I see through your eyes
In someway, shape, or form, you transform
Nothing ever really dies
What use is there to ever be down and mourn
To gain you have to lose, everyday Society says
Plant your feet and lift those legs up from the floor
Keep those eyelids open as if you’re scared reckless
Feed the curiosity towards fulfillment desiring more
Observe the mind’s hunt
Two bits
Shave and a haircut
Don’t miss
Hold up what you must
And be Quick!
But what makes this so much different than NOW?
Energy incarnated from dead yet I’m breathing heaven
Guides, Spirit, and Him hold a conventional powwow
Everything began since I noticed the start of eleven
